Marlinda Records was established at the same time as Surf Records. Surf Records was a full union label, whereas Marlinda was in the non-union genre. This way Kenny Babcock, the founder of these companies, provided the entire music business with Great! music.

 During the 1950's and 1960's Surf Records and Marlinda Records (Surf's sister company) where very progressive and prolific in music production. Surf had recording star's like Judy Harriet Spiegelman, who was one of the original Walt Disney Mouseketeers; Harold Lloyd Junior (Duke Lloyd) who was the son of the famous silent movie star Harold Lloyd, Duke Lloyd already had Star'd in many movies when he signed on with Surf Records; along with many more Stars of that era.

Surf Records has always  grooved on providing that keen sound that captured the dreams of a generation. After over fourty years we have decided to re-release our catalog of songs that are loved by millions. Surf has included Ringtones in the catalog too. We are also offering the Sounds of todays music also.
